About TapeSheet
TapeSheet turns an MT4 or MT5 statement into the numbers that actually tell you something — expectancy, drawdown, win rate by session, the cost of your worst habit. It is free, it has nothing to sign up for, and it runs entirely inside your browser.
Why it exists
Most traders already have the evidence they need. It is sitting in a statement they exported once, looked at, and closed — because a raw MetaTrader report is a wall of rows, not an answer. The tools that will read it for you generally want an account, an email address, or a broker sign-up first. That is a high price for arithmetic on your own data.
So this reads the file where it already is: on your machine. No upload, no account, no waiting. What you get back is a dashboard you can argue with.
Your file never leaves your device
This is the part worth being specific about, because every site says something like it. The analyzer is static JavaScript. When you open a statement, the parsing happens in your browser and the result stays in your browser’s own storage. There is no server to upload it to — the whole site is files on a CDN. We could not read your trades if we wanted to. The analyzer itself runs no script from anyone else, and loading a statement makes no request; the one request this page makes anywhere is Cloudflare’s counter when it opens.
The privacy policy spells out exactly what is and is not collected, in plain English rather than in the usual paragraph of hedges.
Who runs it
TapeSheet is built and operated by Inyonitech Solutions (Pty) Ltd, a registered company based in Cape Town, South Africa. It is an independent project with no broker, prop firm or platform behind it, and no outside investment.
It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to MetaQuotes Software Corp. Product names such as MT4 and MT5 are used only to describe file formats.
How it is paid for
Advertising on the content pages — the guides, calculators and glossary — is intended to cover the domain and the time. The analyzer itself carries no advertising and never will, and there are no affiliate links or broker referrals anywhere on the site. Getting in touch
The contact page is the quickest route, and reaches Inyonitech Solutions (Pty) Ltd directly. Bug reports about a statement that will not parse are especially welcome — please describe what happened rather than attaching the file, since it contains your trading history and we would rather not have it.
