Edgewonk is a serious journal with a real point of view, and its psychology tracking is deeper than ours. It also asks for $169 before you have imported a single trade.
The flat annual price is honest in its way — no tiers, no feature-gating, no upsell ladder, which is more than most of this category manages. But it is paid up front and annually, so the question “does this read my broker’s statement properly?” gets answered after the money has moved. For a trader on a smaller regional MT4 broker that is a real risk rather than a theoretical one.
Where Edgewonk is genuinely strong is in analysing you rather than your trades. Its Edge Finder hunts for the conditions under which your edge exists, and its tagging taxonomy runs to around twenty categories — considerably more structured than our setup-and-mistake pair. If you want to interrogate your own psychology in depth, it is built for that and we are not.
What it does not have is a modern web front end or any AI, and the interface carries its desktop origins. That matters less than the price question, but it is why people go looking for alternatives.

What Edgewonk does better than TapeSheet

Questions
Does TapeSheet do anything like Edge Finder?
Not as one feature. The dashboard breaks P&L down by symbol, session, weekday, hour and direction, and the journal breaks it down by setup and mistake tag — which answers the same questions if you go looking. Edge Finder does the looking for you, and that is a real difference.
Can I use both?
Yes, and there is nothing to coordinate on our side because there is no account. Drop the statement on TapeSheet for the fast read, import it into Edgewonk for the deep one.
