Tradelytic alternative: free too — the difference is the signup
The short version. Also free. But it wants an account, and your broker credentials.
This is the most direct competitor TapeSheet has, and the honest version of this page is short: Tradelytic is free, MT4/MT5-native, has features we do not, and the case against it comes down to two specific things.
Tradelytic launched in November 2023, is still live, has an iOS app, AI trade analysis, a sentiment questionnaire, R-multiples, an equity curve, a calendar and TradingView replay. It funds itself through broker, prop-firm and education referrals rather than subscriptions. On features it is ahead of us in several places, and pretending otherwise would be silly.
The two differences that matter: it requires an account, and it processes your trades on its servers. Nightly auto-sync works by holding your MT4/MT5 investor credentials.
Whether that matters is genuinely up to you. If you trade a personal account and want AI analysis and an iOS app, those are real features and this is a real product. If you are on a funded account, or you simply do not want your full trading history in someone’s database attached to your email address, the calculation is different — and there is no way to have the one without the other, because a server-side product needs a server-side copy.
The uncomfortable part, said out loud: nothing stops Tradelytic adding a no-signup client-side mode. If they do, this page gets shorter still, and we compete on the product rather than on the architecture.

What Tradelytic does better than TapeSheet
This section exists on every page in this cluster and it is never empty. If you are reading a comparison that has no such section, you are reading an advert.
- Nightly auto-sync. Your trades appear without you doing anything. Ours requires exporting a statement, which is a genuine chore, and we will not build sync because it needs the credentials and the server we have deliberately not got.
- A native iOS app. We have a mobile web app. It is good, and it is not the same thing.
- AI trade analysis. A real feature we do not have and have not ticketed.
- Referral-funded, so no ads. Their model means no ad units anywhere. Ours means ads on content pages. Both are disclosed; theirs is arguably the nicer reading experience, and the tradeoff is that referral revenue depends on which brokers and prop firms get recommended.
Who should pick which
Pick Tradelytic
You want nightly sync, an iOS app and AI analysis, and you are comfortable with an account and server-side processing.
Pick TapeSheet
You want no account at all, or you need your trading history to stay on your device — the common case for funded-account traders reading a prop firm’s terms carefully.
If you are choosing between the two purely on features today, Tradelytic wins several rows and we win the architecture. That is the whole comparison, and it is a narrower one than any other page in this cluster.
Questions
Is “nothing leaves your device” really different in practice?
It is a different threat model rather than a different feeling. With server-side processing your history exists in a database that can be breached, subpoenaed, sold with the company or mined for the referral business. With client-side processing there is no copy to breach, because we never received one. Whether that matters depends on what you trade and under whose rules.
What does TapeSheet do about referrals?
Takes none. No broker links, no prop-firm affiliate codes, no education partnerships. The ethics page states it, and every page in this comparison cluster carries no affiliate links of any kind — which is the entire reason to trust the rest of the page.
Where these facts come from
- tradelytic.com public feature and pricing pages, checked August 2026
- Our competitor research note on Tradelytic, including its referral-based monetisation and launch date, August 2026
Checked 21 August 2026, re-checked quarterly. Prices and features change; if something on this page is out of date or wrong, tell us and it gets corrected. There are no affiliate links on this page or anywhere in this cluster — see how this site makes money. We are not linking to Tradelytic at all, in either direction: this site makes zero requests to any third party, which is a rule we would rather keep than break for a citation.
Try ours before you pay for anything
Drop an MT4 or MT5 statement on the page. Full dashboard in about three seconds, no signup, no upload — the file is parsed inside your browser tab and never leaves your device. If it does not read your broker’s file, you have lost thirty seconds.
